OPUS and Fiker Institute launched their partnership to promote international action and intellectual discourse among the memberships of both organizations. Through a joint program of events and experiences, the partnership brings the UK and UAE’s leading business builders into important, collectively curated policy conversations.

In collaboration with Fiker Institute, Museum of the Future hosted Climate Future Week in September 2023, aiming to advance climate action through future-oriented conversations, policy-focused solutions, and global environmental debates. Spanning five days, the inaugural week boasted 6,300 attendees, including government officials, industry leaders, academics, sustainability experts, and senior delegates. Twenty main sessions were held over the course of three days, focused on three main pillars: the role of technology in the future of climate action, the role of the next generation and entrepreneurship in supporting climate resilience, and the importance of enhancing climate awareness to achieve climate goals. The week also included six workshops, a Climate Film Festival, a Climate Start-Up Majlis, and a regional environmental photography exhibition.
Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and Fiker Institute launched a multi-year partnership to advance research on regional cultural and creative industries through panel discussions, publications, and debates, alongside the exchange of experiences, skills, and knowledge.
Fatima Bint Mohamed Bin Zayed Initiative and Fiker Institute signed an MoU to establish a Knowledge Partnership between the two entities in diplomacy and women’s empowerment.
Emirates Literature Foundation and Fiker Institute signed an MoU to strengthen cooperation on cross-cultural dialogue through the written word.
Fiker Institute announced a research partnership with Global Art Daily (GAD) to explore the United Arab Emirates’ increasing cultural ties with Asia and Africa, through artistic and curatorial practices.
Barjeel Art Foundation and Fiker Institute launched Written Portraits: Arab Women, Art, & History, a research partnership that focuses on the lives and works of Arab female artists, authored by Arab female researchers. Their collaborative initiative seeks to bridge a number of knowledge gaps in existing global discourse surrounding female artists from the Arab World, and their social, political, and cultural contributions to their respective countries and the wider region.
